Next Sunday video: My Leather Gloves Collection
Besides boots, leather gloves have been my great love since I was a child. I remember regularly putting on my mother's gloves and eventually even receiving an old pair from her when she bought new ones herself. I kept them in my room in a special box and often put them on when I was playing alone.
Through the comments on the videos and via Instagram I get a lot of questions about where I bought my gloves. There are already nine pairs in my collection and that's why I thought it would be fun to make an overview of them.
So here it is my Leather glove Collection including all the links to the shops where you can buy them in (big) sizes!
1. Short biker gloves
The first pair of gloves are these short biker gloves. They are small and reach halfway up your hand at the top and just over your thumb at the bottom. They are therefore very suitable for summer and make a beautiful statement with any outfit because they make your hands stand out just a little bit more.
2. Short pink gloves
Many of the colors in my closet are black, white, or brown, but for a while now I also like to add some pink now and then. In this completely black outfit, they give a nice feminine accent, so I even dare to wear a black leather biker jacket with it. The gloves attract attention and combined with a leather handbag, this completes the outfit.
Find them over here in XS- XLL
3. Short black gloves
The third pair of gloves is a short leather pair with a bow on top of the wrist.
A beautiful detail that often becomes slightly visible when worn. For this outfit, I combine them with a long leather trench coat for a complete lady-in-black look.
4. Patent leather Gloves
The fourth pair is a patent leather pair of gloves that blend beautifully with the shine of the corset. It is a material that I was not really familiar with before, but because of the slightly different shine, I really enjoy combining it with other leather items.
5. White elbow leather Gloves
I bought the fifth pair of gloves inspired by my wife. She has a great love for black and white and bought a pair of white leather gloves last year. Kirsten couldn't stay behind and that's why I searched until I found a longer pair in my size. I like to combine them with my white trench coat or, for example, with my white boots. I always think it looks so good, but perhaps it is also because I always recognize my wife's style in it 😉
6. Black elbow leather Gloves
This sixth pair of gloves is a real classic for me, they are the first long black gloves I bought. They are wonderfully supple and thinly lined and actually match any outfit!
7. Pink / Black elbow leather Gloves
The seventh pair of gloves is a pair with a nice twist. They are pink and black! I found them online after a long search and was immediately sold. Here too I like that the pink attracts attention and yet, combined with the black interior, goes well with many of the often black basic tones that I wear in my outfits.
8. Brown elbow leather Gloves
The eighth pair is a pair I bought especially for this fall and winter. It is a brown pair of elbow-length leather gloves with a zipper at the top to make them easier to put on and take off. The zipper makes the glove tighter and looser. Absolutely love them!
9. Leather Opera Gloves
The last pair of gloves is also a really special one for me. They are gloves I have always dreamed of; long leather opera-style gloves that reach all the way to the upper arm. So graceful and really something you don't see often, but as you can imagine, I would certainly like to see them more! Their unusual length makes every outfit special and gives this basic outfit a complete look even without a jacket!
